Anthony E. Cabral (also known as “ACE”) is a filmmaker and accomplished assistant director with nearly 30 years of experience in film, television, and video production. A graduate of Missouri State University with a degree in Mass Media: Film Studies and Production, he has contributed to a wide range of projects—from independent features to major studio productions, including Disney and Netflix television programs. He is a proud member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), the Producers Guild of America (PGA), and SAG-AFTRA.
Outside of production, Cabral serves the DGA on the Eastern AD/UPM Council and is an active member of the Eastern First Assistant Director Committee, the Chicago Coordinating Committee, the Latino Committee, and the Eastern Diversity Steering Committee. He also regularly gives back to the industry by volunteering with the Sundance Film Festival and teaching Production Assistant Training Programs. He has also spoken at institutions such as Missouri State University, the University of Illinois, Columbia College Chicago, and other film-focused organizations.
